Green Party reaction to election wipeout



The 2024 General Election has been nothing short of a complete disaster for the Green Party.

 

The party Leader, Roderic O’Gorman secured the party’s only seat when he was elected on the 13th count in Dublin West.

 

The Green party lost their other 11 seats which were secured in the 2020 General Election.

 

High profile candidates included out going Minster for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin along with Ossian Smyth and Malcolm Noonan

Locally it’s claimed that party had posters removed in Leitrim.

 

Former Green party local election candidates Leslie O’ Hora earlier discussed this issues with John Lynch on North West Today.
