Sligo Mugendo’s Billy Dolan-Geary and Collooney Kickboxing Club’s Nathan Nooney have both secured bronze medals at the WAKO European Senior Championships in Athens.
Dolan Geary lost a high-quality semi-final bout against current world champion Akselli of Finland.
However, his wins in two earlier rounds ensured him of a bronze medal for Ireland.
Nathan Nooney, one of four members from Collooney Kickboxing Club competing in Athens this week, won bronze in the kick light division.
