A popular Co. Sligo seaside restaurant has moved to reassure its customers that it’s not closing.
Fish & Bean at Sligo Yacht Club at Rosses Point is a hugely popular eatery but have had to shut down persistent closure rumours this week.
Rumours had been circulating that the business was to shut its doors in the very near future.
But taking to social media, the owners said that they were very much open for business and that running a restaurant is hard enough these days without constant rumours.
The restaurant, which is run by husband & wife team Dave & Áine Mullan won the coveted Best Casual Dining in Connaught at the Irish Restaurant awards last year.
Statement:
So again it’s time for the annual rumours of Rosses Point to be put to bed!! We are NOT closing as is the now weekly thing people are saying to us. Running a restaurant is hard enough these days without constant rumours. So we are very much open for business!!! See you at 5pm.
