A man has died in an overnight crash in County Mayo.
Shortly before 11:00pm last night Gardaí and emergency services responded to the collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the N60 at near Balla.
A pedestrian, a male in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
