Tony McEntee is staying on as Sligo senior gaelic football manager for two more years.
The Crossmaglen native has completed four years in charge of the Yeats County – during which time he led the team to a Division 4 league title (2023) and two Tailteann Cup semi-finals (2022 & 2024).
Sligo consolidated their position in Division 3 this season – and will be looking to push towards promotion in the New Year.
McEntee has indicated that there will be changes to his backroom team for 2025.

McEntee has been speaking to Ocean FM Sport’s Austin O’Callaghan about his decision to stay on with Sligo.
Carlow native Stephen Shiel has been re-appointed as Sligo senior hurling manager for next year.
The other main county managerial appointments remain unchanged.
