The Supreme Court is due to issue its decision in the last-ditch attempt by Graham Dwyer to overturn his conviction for murdering Elaine O’Hara.
His appeal was rejected by the Court of Appeal on all grounds last year, however the Supreme Court allowed this final appeal as it centres on ‘significant issues of general public importance’.
Dwyer was convicted of Ms O’Hara’s murder by a unanimous jury verdict in March 2015.
He is appealing on the grounds of having his rights under the European Charter of Fundamental Rights breached by the retention of his mobile phone data.
