Sligo Air Show set to take off for second year

The Sligo Air Show is returning with a new and improved event over the 27th and 28th of July.

The performances will take place at Sligo Airport in Strandhill, and will feature some of the most talented Irish, international pilots and aerobatic formation teams.

And in a first of its kind in Ireland, a spectacular airborne fireworks display by the Firebirds will take place, along with a dramatic display by one of the finest aerobatic display teams – the Royal Jordanian Falcons

Sé Pardy, Sligo Air Show Director, says the weekend is “aerial rock and roll”:

Tickets can be purchased on site on the day or online at https://www.sligo.ie/event/sligo-airshow-2024/2024-07-28/ Adult tickets cost €15 for entry to Sligo Airport viewing area for each event, child tickets €10 (Air Show only due to noise of the Firebirds display).
