Fianna Fail Cllr Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly has confirmed that he is to seek nomination as a candidate from the party for the next General Election in the Donegal constituency.
He now joins south Donegal County Councillor Michael Naughton in a General Election bid, who announced a similar move on Monday.
The Glenswilly Cllr topped the poll in the recent local elections in the Letterkenny – Milford MD.
It’s not yet known when Fianna Fail will hold its selection convention but the closing date for nominations is this coming Monday.
