Further searches in Enniskillen in terror investigation



A house has been searched in Enniskillen as part of an investigation into the discovery of a suspected improvised explosive device in Co Louth at the weekend.

 

The search was conducted by detectives yesterday.

 

A number of items were taken away for further examination, including clothing and other items.

 

This follows the search of a house in Belleek on Tuesday.

 

A 42-year-old man was arrested in Fermanagh, and later released, under Section 41 Terrorism of the Terrorism Act 2000.

 

Police say that they will continue to work alongside their colleagues in An Garda Síochána and again, are encouraging anyone with any information to contact them on 101.
