PSNI carry out searches following discovery of suspected explosives



The PSNI’s Terrorism Unit followed up weekend searches in Enniskillen, Garrison and Letterbreen, in connnection with the discovery of a suspected explosive device, with another search in Belleek yesterday.

The device was originally discovered in Co. Louth on June 9th.

Gardaí have been working in conjunction with the PSNI since the device was found.

A man in his 40s had been arrested following the weekend search in Letterbreen, but was since released without charge.
