There are calls for portable toilets to be situated at the bus stop on Connaughton Road in Sligo.
It’s after the issue of a lack of public toilets in this particular area and other parts of the town have been brought to the fore again in recent weeks.
One bus operator previously revealed to Ocean FM that his buses now stop on the outskirts of the town because there are no such facilities available.
Cllr Gino’ O’Boyle believes the use of portable toilets would work as an interim measure until such time as a more permanent solution is found:
