Updated: Research from Leitrim Council finds that over 60% of millennials would move for workplace flexibility



New research conducted by Leitrim County Council has found that Over 60 per cent of those born between 1981 and 1996 would think about moving to another part of the country.

 

The local Authority’s research was carried out by Bounce and reveals over a fifth of Irish workers are fully remote.

 

The survey, which involved interviews with 1,000 respondents carried out in March found 22 per cent of them to be fully remote and high levels of approval among those in a position to stay away from the office in the aftermath of the pandemic.

 

More than half of remote workers say it has a very positive impact on their work-life balance.
