Sligo’s Brian Colsh will row for Ireland this week at the European Senior Rowing Championships in Slovenia.
The Ballymote man has been selected for the men’s heavyweight single sculls – which is the event with the largest number of entries (23).
The championships run in Slovenia from Thursday to Sunday, May 25th-28th.

Colsh reached the quarter-finals of the senior World Rowing Championships in the Czech Republic last September – and enjoyed a top 15 finish overall by reaching the ‘B’ final.
He has already won medals for Ireland and junior and U23 level with various crews at previous European and World Championships.
