Warning issued to rural businesses over ‘resurgence’ in organised crime groups



Gardai have issued a warning to rural businesses in the North West over the presence of Organised Crime Groups operating in the area.

 

Owners and operators of businesses premises, particularly in rural areas are urged to be aware of current crime trends where filling stations have been targeted in the region.

 

The criminals are said to be after ATMs, cash alcohol and tobacco products.
