A Donegal TD is calling this morning for urgent action to be taken regarding waiting times at Letterkenny University Hospital.
The comments from Sinn Féin Donegal TD Deputy Pearse Doherty come after patients reported lengthy wait times at Letterkenny’s Emergency Department last week.
Deputy Doherty says the situation atLetterkenny University Hospital is unacceptable, adding that it is failing the people of Donegal and also the staff working at the facility.
He says no hospital should be running in a state of emergency on a daily basis.
