Flood relief measures to commence shortly in Donegal Town



It’s hoped that work on flood relief measures for Donegal Town can begin as quickly as possible.

 

The area has suffered numerous flooding events over the last few years and it was confirmed yesterday that the flood relief scheme is finally being released.

 

Over 70 businesses and residential properties in the town have been deemed as particularly vulnerable to flooding.

 

Local Sinn Fein Cllr Noel Jordon says while it’s not yet known when works will eventually get underway but hopes that extra staff employed will speed up the process:
