Over 50 waiting at North West’s two main hospitals



There were 55 people waiting on hospital beds in the North West’s two main hospitals today.

There were 524 admitted patients are waiting for beds throughout the country according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

Locally, there were 38 waiting in Sligo and 17 in Letterkenny.

407 patients were waiting in the emergency department in Sligo while 117 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

There are 25 people waiting in the emergency Department In Sligo and 4 in Letterkenny.

Sligo is the third most over crowded Hospital in the country behind Cork and Limerick
