A man has been charged following a serious assault that took place in Glencolmcille on Sunday night.
It’s understood that a man in his 20s was attacked outside a licenced premises in the Cashel area after 9:30pm.
In a statement to OceanFM news gardai say that they are investigating an alleged assault in the area have charged a man as a result of the investigation.
The man, aged in his 20s, is due to appear before Glenties District Court this morning, at 10.30am.
