Almost 50 waiting at North West hospitals



There were 49 people waiting on trollies in the North West’s two main hospitals this morning.

According to the latest trolley watch figures from the INMO, there were 16 people waiting in Letterkenny University Hospital, with a further 33 waiting in Sligo.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, with 91 people awaiting admission there.

Nationwide, today’s figures stand at 536.
