Almost 70 waiting at two North West hospitals



There were 66 people awaiting admission to the North West’s two main hospitals today.

According to the latest figures from the INMO, there were 42 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital, while 24 were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning.

University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, with 80 people on trolleys there.

Nationally, today’s figures stand at 541.
