Sligo restaurateur calls on Government to support sector



The cost of running a tourism accommodation business in Ireland continues to rise.

 

The industry lost 6 billion euro as a result of the pandemic, according to Eoghan O’Mara Walsh, CEO of the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation.

 

He was speaking at an Oireachtas Tourism Committee meeting, on the challenges facing the sector.
