Sligo win gives play-off hope

Sligo senior men’s rugby team are eyeing a possible top-four play-off place in Division 2B of the Energia men’s All-Ireland League following Saturday’s impressive 20-17 against Rainey Old Boyes in Magherafelt on Saturday.

Two tries from centre Ryan Feehily and another from Kuba helped propel Paddy Pearson’s side to victory and leaves still still in with a shout of making the end-of-season play-offs.

The win moves Sligo up to sixth in the table, just three points behind Belfast Harlequins who are fourth.

Sligo go to Dublin next Saturday to play Malahide before a home game against Belfast Harlequins on April 15th.
