Four enterprises in North West to share almost €400,000 under Scaling Up Fund



Four enterprises in the North West are to share almost 400,000 euro under the Scaling Up Fund.

 

The funding is to enable these social enterprises to develop and expand the vital services that they provide in communities in region.

 

In Sligo, the Michael Coleman Heritage Centre is to get almost €86,400 to fund upgrades and improvements to their theatre.

 

The Dunlewey Centre in Donegal is set to receive €100,000 to fund the building of a disability toilet, emergency lighting upgrades, and works to improve access to the playground

 

Also in Donegal the No Barriers Foundation is to get €100,000 to fund the purchase of equipment to improve the strength, fitness and mobility of their clients enabling rehabilitation and senior exercise.

 

Lastly, Letterkenny Community Centre is also set to receive €100,000 to fund the fit-out and finishes to the Social Centre and External site works.
