There’s a warning that more must be done to protect the grounds of Donegal Airport from flooding.
A significant number of areas in Donegal experienced flooding overnight due to a combination of high tides and heavy rain.
Donegal County Council is being urged to have round table talks to see how more flood mitigation works can be carried out.
Cllr Michael Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig says while some work has been done locally, hes concerned that its not enough to cope with rising water levels into the future:
