There were almost 60 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals this morning, according to the INMO.
33 people were waiting at Sligo while a further 24 were waiting at Letterkenny.
University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded today with 106 people waiting there.
Nationally, there were 665 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
