Donegal will face Wicklow in the semi-final of the Allianz Hurling League Division 2B following Sunday’s dramatic 1-18 to 1-17 victory against Tyrone in Letterkenny.
Wicklow were already assured of a semi-final place even before their 1-14 to 0-12 loss to Sligo at Markievicz Park – a result which marked Sligo’s first league points of Division 2B this season.
Padraig Mannion’s team finished the game with 13 players with Fionn Connolly and Fionn Moylan each receiving two yellows in separate incidents.
The winners of the Donegal v Wicklow league semi-final will face Meath in the Division 2B decider.
