Concern expressed in council chamber over removal of services in Sligo Schools



Further questions are being asked over why critical services have been taken away at both St. Cecila’s and St Joseph’s Special Schools in Sligo.

 

Speech and language, occupational therapy, physio and therapeutic services are all said to be downgraded in the schools, leaving pupils at a serious disadvantage.

 

Sligo County Council is to write to relevant stakeholders on the issue.
