The President of the Garda Representative Association has called for more support for gardaí who are working on the front line.
It comes after three stories were published in yesterday’s Irish Daily Mail, in which members of An Garda Siochana, two of which had recently resigned, recounted how their jobs negatively impacted on their health and wellbeing.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, GRA President Brendan O’Connor said that this is symptomatic of what the association has been saying for some time now:
