A man is being questioned by Gardai about illegal drone use at Dublin airport.
Flights had to be halted on four separate occasions in recent weeks after a drone was spotted flying close to the airfield.
The Leitrim senior football team were among those delayed on Saturday last as they attempted to fly to the UK for an Allianz Football league game with London on Sunday.
Last night Gardai arrested a man for questioning about drone activity at the airport on Tuesday January 24th.
He’s being held at Dublin Airport Garda station under the non-fatal offences against the person act.
Investigations are also ongoing.
