On this edition of a Living Gift we focus on the story of Michael Mitchell. Michael lives in Strandhill in County Sligo and received a double lung transplant.
He faced a race against in order to find a matching donor and was also received a cancer diagnosis at the same time as the lung transplants were due to take place.
In the following documentary Michael tells his story of that period in his life and how his strong faith and belief in God were major assets in helping overcome the medical challenges that he faced.
