Calry brothers complete club transfer to St Vincent’s

Sligo senior football vice-captain Darragh Cummins and his brother Adrian have completed their club transfers from Calry/St Joseph’s in Sligo to Dublin club St Vincent’s.

Both men are Dublin-based these days.

The Cummins siblings have been among the mainstays of the Calry/St Joseph’s senior side since their return to senior championship football in Sligo in recent years.

Their father, David, a former Sligo under-20 manager, was also bainisteoir of the Calry seniors until the end of last year.

Darragh is part of Sligo’s 26-man matchday panel for this Sunday’s Allianz Football League Division 4 game against Laois at Markievicz Park – and along with Castleconnor’s Sean Carrabine, holds the team vice-captaincy for the season ahead.

Sunday’s NFL game will be broadcast live on Ocean FM from 2pm – in association with Oates Breheny Group
