Following a search and recovery operation in Carrick-on-Shannon, the body of a man was recovered from the water on Sunday morning.
The man had been reported missing.
The body of the man has been taken to Sligo University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A file will be prepared for the Coroner.
Gardaí in Carrick-on-Shannon have thanked members of the public for their ongoing assistance in this search and recovery operation.
