HSE Chief of Operations warns of worsening pressure on Ireland’s health system



A local HSE executive has warned that the pressure on the health system is going to get worse before it gets better.

HSE Chief of Operations, Sligo’s Damien McCallion, also believes that the situation has not peaked yet.

The public are being urged to ‘consider all options’ like injury units, pharmacies and GPs before attending Emergency Departments.
