Easkey reach All-Ireland club hurling final

Easkey produced a blistering second-half at windy Darver in county Louth on Sunday to beat Kilburn Gaels of London by 3-15 to 4-6 and reach a first-ever All-Ireland junior club hurling final at Croke Park in January.

Andy Kilcullen was in superb form as Easkey overturned a four-point half-time deficit to win by six points in the end.

Michael Gordon’s side will play Ballygiblin of Cork in the All-Ireland final at Croke Park, on Satuday, January 14th.

Easkey’s footballers reached an All-Ireland junior final in 2019. Now – the west Sligo club’s hurlers are about to do likewise.

Sunday’s All-Ireland junior club semi-final results
Easkey (Sligo) 3-15 Kilburn Gaels (London) 4-6
Ballygiblin (Cork) 1-12 Horeswood (Wexford) 0-8.
