Leitrim GAA has appointed Karl Foley as the county’s new senior football team manager.
The Roscommon native was ratified at a meeting of the Leitrim county board earlier this week.
A native of Kilmore in Roscommon, Foley previously lived in Leitrim and guided local club side Annaduff to to two Leitrim intermediate championship finals and a county minor title in recent years.
He’s also managed Leitrim Gaels.
Foley was Roscommon minor football team manager in 2017 and was also part of the management team which beat Sligo to win the Connacht minor title in 2020.
Foley’s backroom team will include former Leitrim Gaels bainisteoir Mal Guckian, Barry Greaney, Donal Scollan and Raymond Grennan.
