All-Stars lose to Marian in Dublin

There was disappointment for the EJ Sligo All-Stars on Saturday night in the men’s Superleague as they lost 87-80 to UCD Marian in Dublin.

The All-Stars had beaten their Dublin opponents at in the corresponding home fixture earlier this season (92-75) but Shane O’Meara’s side were unable to repeat the feat here.

90 points appears to be the magic scoring number for the All-Stars in the Superleague so far this season.

Saturday’s result leaves the All-Stars in mid-table (7th) after 8 games on 12 points – they are nine points behind current leaders Galway Maree.
