Brian Colsh’s growing reputation in rowing has been rewarded with another award.
The Ballymote man, who had a top 15 finish in the men’s single sculs at the senior World Rowing Championships this year, has been named as Rowing Ireland’s ‘Up and Coming Rower of the Year’ for 2022.
He was presented with his award at a Rowing Ireland ceremony on Wednesday.
Colsh, who’s a student at NUI Galway, learnt his rowing skills at Sligo Rowing Club.
He also won bronze for Ireland in the men’s double sculls at this year’s World Junior Rowing Championships in Italy.
