A step too far – Sligo publican removes Heineken draught beers over price increase



The proprietor of the historic Connolly’s Pub in Sligo Town says the move by Heineken Ireland to increase its brand’s price was a step too far, which is why he removed most of the brands from the pub. Paul O’Donnell says it would have meant a 50c increase for customers, and he’s introduced local brewery products instead
