ATU Sligo & St. Angela’s to share €2,400,000 in funding



Both ATU Sligo and St. Angela’s College are to share just over €2,400,000 in funding.

 

It’s part of a nationwide announcement to facilitate a range of student supports and to support students’ mental health and wellbeing.

 

The money being provided as part of Budget 2023 to help reduce the cost of living for students.

 

The Student Assistance Fund provides financial support to full or part-time students who are experiencing financial difficulties while attending college.

 

While the mental health fund aims to assist colleges to recruit student counsellors which will assist in improving student welfare across a broad range of issues.
