A Leitrim Cllr has called for water services to be returned to public ownership.
Sinn Fein Cllr Padraig Fallon says there have been several issues locally that aren’t being addressed in a timely fashion by Irish Water.
Cllr Fallon also claims that all the while customers are being penalised.
He has stressed that this is not a reflection on local staff on the ground, but rather orders coming from the top:
