There were almost 90 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals this morning according to the latest trolley watch report.
49 people were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital while a further 49 were waiting at Sligo.
Nationally, there were 589 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
