A Sligo Leitrim TD says more should be done that people that recieve court fines should pay them.
More than 84,000 court fines were issued over the past 18 months.
The data shows just over 2,000 cases remain either under appeal or have gone to a judicial review.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Sligo Leitrim TD Martin Kenny says that every avenue should be followed to ensure that fines are paid.
