Killybegs Fishing Organisation plead for scheme to aid fuel crisis



The CEO of the Killybegs Fishing Organisation has appealed to the Minister for Agriculture to introduce a scheme to aid fuel costs for fishermen in Ireland.

It comes after Sinn Féin spokesperson on Fisheries and the Marine, Pádraig Mac Lochlainn, said it’s unbelievable that there was no emergency financial aid package to address the unprecedented fuel crisis in the Irish fishing industry.
