Sligo boxer Dean Clancy was the gold medal at the Elite multination tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Fighting at 63.5kg, the Seán McDermott Boxing Club member was also selected as ‘Most Combative Boxer’ following his performances at the tournament.
20-year-old Clancy was the second gold medal winner at the tournament in which 26 countries participated.
Seán Mari, a native of Monkstown in Dublin was the winner of the 51kg category.
Clancy spoke to Ocean FM Sport’s Dónal Ryan after his success.
