Government pressed for answers over rural transport in south Donegal



The Government has been pressed for answers over whether rural transport will be improved in south Donegal.

 

Speaking in the Dail to Transport Minister Eamon Ryan, Independent TD Thomas Pringle asked what the Government’s plans are to develop the Local Link service in Donegal.

 

Deputy Pringle outlined how there would be less cars on the road from the likes of Killybegs to Donegal Town if a proper bus service was in place.

 

But he says that unfortunately, the service as it currently stands is unreliable and ways must be found to bring it up to scratch:
