Warning over restaurants struggles in North West



The Drinks Industry Group of Ireland claim a cut in Ireland’s high excise tax rate would make a tangible and immediate impact on tourism and hospitality businesses in the North West that are struggling.

 

The group is warning that the local region has an above average dependency on the tourism and hospitality sector.

 

A recent report – commissioned by Professor Anthony Foley from DCU – has highlighted the soaring costs of doing business in the hospitality sector.
