MacSharry calls for targeted supports for small businesses in Budget

A Sligo Leitrim TD is calling for a specific set of measures to be introduced in next week budget to support small and medium sized businesses that he claims will be impacted by the increase in the minimum wage.

The National Minimum Wage to €11.30 per hour from the start of next year.

Speaking in the Dáil Deputy MacSharry called for jobs to be protected and requested designated supports to be put in place for small and medium enterprises so that they can offset a proportion of the additional costs they will face as a result of the minimum wage being increased.
