There are further calls on Bus Eireann to carry out as full audit on their bus stops in County Sligo.
It is hoped that the audit would pave the way for the provision of more shelters in a number of areas.
Local Cllr Arthur Gibbons says it’s totally unacceptable in this day and age not to have the adequate infrastructure in place.
Cllr Gibbons says to leave anyone out in the elements while waiting for a bus is ridiculous and the funding needs to be sought to put the shelters in place:
