A Sligo Councillor believes the school transport debacle is being used as a political football and the focus should be on getting the issue sorted for the families still impacted.
A number of parents in Sligo were unsuccessful in securing a school bus place for their children for this current academic year.
It’s an issue that crops up annually ahead of the new school year, however it was further heightened this year after the Government waived fees in order to ease the finical pressure parents are under with the cost of living crisis.
