The World, the largest residential cruise ship on earth has arrived in Donegal.
It’s the first time the ship has visited Ireland, which arrived in Killybegs this morning.
The residential vessel includes 165 homes, distributed between apartments, studio apartments and studies.
The privately owned residences typically cost between 2- 15 million dollars.
This is the first stop on a two week visit to Ireland that will also see the vessel dock in Bangor Galway, Dingle, Bantry and Cork.
Donegal MD Councillor Niamh Kennedy has been speaking to Ocean FM news she says the ships arrive is great news for the town and that she is delighted the ship will return next year
